When Religion Faces the Challenge of Science and Technology

 



In some developed countries, the proportion of community members who embrace religious beliefs is decreasing. They rely more on the findings of science and technology as a guide for their daily lives. Religion is increasingly excluded from its role in guiding and directing society according to its values. Will people in Muslim countries experience the same thing? This is certainly a question that needs to be pondered deeply. So far, there has been no such trend. Even in Indonesia, there is a tendency to increase Islamic passion among the middle class and educated people. Religion and science both have an important part in the daily life of Indonesian Muslims.
